Secret Sandwich |
| Take two thick slices of Noonie's day old bread, smear Honey Cup honey mustard
liberally over both. Cover both slices with green leaf lettuce. Then on one slice only lay smoked turkey on the lettuce,
a tomato slice on the turkey and sprinkle it with shredded carrot. Then on the lay a slice of provolone cheese over the
carrot then a green pepper ring on top of the cheese. Sprikle with sprouts. Cover with the other slice, lettuce side down.
The letuce should be stuck to the bread with honey mustard so it doesn't fall off when you turn it upside down to cover the
sandwich. Slice sandwich in half with a knife. Wrap in tightly in plastic wrap. Use too much wrap. Tape on label. Tadaaa!
Weighs one pound. Costs Four Bucks. |

Underdog. I am serious, and don't call me Shirley.
-
You are correct in calling Bernie an underdog. Tarrant is buying this election. After labor day, Tarrant's negative ads will increase dramatically.
Bernie is in trouble. Unless he raises money, he won't be able to respond to Tarrant's non-stop, slick, media campaign.
-
Slick media campaign? What is Bernie afraid of? You can't launch an effective campaign without a record that shows that Sanders doensn't stand for anything except his socialistic ideas. I'd be scared too if I were Bernie.
-
Bernie will have plenty of money, between contributions from trial lawyers and his decision to accept the very same corporate PAC money he has criticized throughout his political life.

Senator Sanders. Has a nice ring to it. Get used to it.
-
Doesn't sound like you are too confident. "bernie is in trouble" I'd say so. He's so reactionary, especially when it comes to his record. Did you see those web-ads that Tarrant did? Had them ready within a day!!!
Sanders couldn't do that. And his grassroots organization won't be as strong as Tarrants. I mean, a couple of weeks ago, Tarrant released a list of over 450 town chairs. HA! Sanders couldn't do that if he tried.
-
Tarrant's healthcare policy is amazing. He wants insurance companies to keep your medical records. INSURANCE COMPANIES!
Richie Rich Tarrant needs to disclose his income tax returns. We need to see how much money Tarrant gets from investments in the insurance industry.
It looks like the insurance industry has Richie Rich in their pocket!
-
"I mean, a couple of weeks ago, Tarrant released a list of over 450 town chairs. HA! Sanders couldn't do that if he tried. "
No small fete, considering Vermont only has 251 towns. Ah, I see, he bought and incorporated 200 towns. That's very shrewd. Let's have a naming contest shall we? I'll start:
Calais. and not Callous like those morons call it...Callay, like the sophisticated French would say...
-
Richie Rich Tarrant made his money by processing medical insurance claims. He needs to disclose his income tax returns so that we can find out how much money he gets from his ownership of insurance companies.
Is Tarrant owned by the insurance lobby? Is that why his healthcare plan favors insurance companies?
-
Yeah but PoliticsVT has proven to give out useful information, is fair and balanced, does a better job tha most blogs at giving us information from the mass media and gets more traffic than most blogs. I think it deserves it, but I don't think it will get it.
-
Tarrant's supporters are trying to change the subject.
On Rich Tarrant's website-blog, I asked if he would release his tax returns. Instead of answering, they just removed my question!
If Rich Tarrant released his tax returns for the past 5 years, we would learn whether he is really a Vermont resident. We would also learn if he receives money from the insurance industry or has major investments in the oil industry.
