Secret Sandwich
Take two thick slices of Noonie's day old bread, smear Honey Cup honey mustard liberally over both. Cover both slices with green leaf lettuce. Then on one slice only lay smoked turkey on the lettuce, a tomato slice on the turkey and sprinkle it with shredded carrot. Then on the lay a slice of provolone cheese over the carrot then a green pepper ring on top of the cheese. Sprikle with sprouts. Cover with the other slice, lettuce side down. The letuce should be stuck to the bread with honey mustard so it doesn't fall off when you turn it upside down to cover the sandwich. Slice sandwich in half with a knife. Wrap in tightly in plastic wrap. Use too much wrap. Tape on label. Tadaaa! Weighs one pound. Costs Four Bucks.

I'll go first. Anybody see Tarrant's lastest attack ad? I never thought I'd see that sort of sleaze in a Vermont campaign. How can someone so rich have so little class? I'm feeling ferklempt. Talk talk amongst yourselves.

I used to work for IDX as a salesrep. I heard Rich Tarrant's explain his sales approach: Take the high road, when its available. If you are losing, don't be afraid to fight nasty in the gutter.

Tarrant knows that he is losing. You can bet that this election race will get a whole lot nastier. The worst attack ads on Bernie are yet to come! I just hope that Bernie will start to fight back.

I just watched it (the commercial) and I don't see what the big deal is. The way you were talking, I was expecting some sleaze, some real mud slinging and personal attack type stuff. Instead, I got a run down of Sanders' record of cutting intelligence money. Been there, done that. I heard the whole spiel from Greg Parke (the other GOP candidate) when I had him on channel 17 last month.

How is highlighting Sanders' record an attack? You are right that you have never seen that, though. Uncle Bernie gets a free pass every two years. Heaven forbid we actually talk about his voting record!

    Tarrant is a dog.
There is only one real republican in this race: Greg Parke.
Tarrant is looking to fulfill a dream beyond making his fortune. Unfortunately, he's as much a republican as GWB is (meaning he's not).
    There both too liberal!
I saw a bumper sticker on an SUV today: 01.20.09 the end of an error. On the one hand, it's nice to see that liberals have finally embraced SUVs as a status symbol (look for more now that the Toyota hybrids are out), but on the other hand, it could just as easily have been a conservative's SUV!

That was me posting as Anonymous by mistake. Sorry for the amateur move.

Tarrant has created a library of video on Bernie. In Tarrant's library, he has video showing Bernie answering all types of questions over the years. For his ads, Tarrant chooses the worst pictures and the worst clips. Tarrant even changes the aspect ratio of the pictures, so that Bernie looks fat. (You digitally change the aspect ratio by, effectively, stretching the width of the picture slightly.) If you look very closely at Tarrant's pictures of Bernie, you will see that some of them are distorted.

If you are really upset by Tarrant's tacktics, you need to contribute to Bernie's campaign. If Bernie doesn't have any money, he won't be able to answer the non-stop attack ads.

I just wrote Bernie a check for eleven dollars. This is my third contribution.

I also plan on distorting some pictures of Tarrant in a wicked way as soon as possible.

I haven't had time to go door to door or stuff envelopes, but you do what you can.

I'll always feel a little bad that I never got around to help Gore. I did shake his hand though, twice.

Bernie's got lots of money, about 90% of what Tarrant's raised. Interesting thing is, almost none of Bernie;s money is from Vermont.

I'll bet you anything more Vermonters contributed to Bernie's campaign than to Tarrant's.

And most of Tarrant's money comes from some guy who lives in Florida.

The executive branch needs to be put in its place. I think we know which candidate is best suited for that task.

  • At Friday, August 18, 2006, Anonymous said…

Tarrant might live in Florida, but his money was made in Vermont. Providing jobs to Vermonters to be exact.

All Bernie has done for the last quarter century is live off the tax-payers.

Yes. Bernie has lived on a salary paid by taxpayers.

Tarrant has become obscenely, filthy rich on the backs of the sick.

    What's really worse?

PS I don't usually post as anonymous. I swear. I just wanted to see if you would figure out it was me. There is another anonymous out there who loves to give you crap. I only posted the two comments above at 7:47 PM and 1:28 PM.

And I never post anonymously on my own blog. That would just be lame. (Except when you do it on your blog, of course.)
