Seriously BT?

I was having trouble accessing my Burlington Telecom account online to pay my bill, and I don't seem to have any paper bills for the last couple of months, so I filled out their online "contact us" email form, and instead of emailing me back- they called my wife at home and talked to her. What is that? I don't even think I left my phone number on the contact form. I left my email. If I write to them, they should write back to me. Am I wrong?

  1. I, for one, LOVE the fact that BT got back to you quickly and with a personal phone call even though you emailed to contact them initially. Burlington Telecom is a local, self sustained, city entity that values it's city customers. As Burlington is very community oriented a friendly call to help with your issue is much more neighborly and shows concern for your important needs as a citizen and customer. Cheers to them for bridging the gap and taking the time for a personal call. We should all be so fortunate in dealing with other entities.

  2. I agree. Your agoraphobia is no reason for them not to call you wife like a proper company.

  3. Geoff stop shilling. Your gushing is embarrassing and it's not apropos of a committee member.

The customer is always right. Don't you get it? I'm the customer. It may be the nature of any government entity to believe it is always right, but that's not the way to turn a profit.

The taxpayers aren't going to float BT forever. BT's attitude needs to change if it's to get and stay in the black.

  5. If I send in a request by email, I expect to get contacted back the same way. Unless I ask them by email to contact me by phone. I wouldn't have liked it either, Haik.

Can't even get Burlington Telecom here on Pearl Street yet. Maybe I'm lucky.
