City Signs Threaten Illegal Fines

So I hear the VT Legislature is considering selling us out to the feds and making seatbelt infractions a primary offense in exchange for a one-time pittance of 3.5 mil. I would only support the measure if it included a sunset as soon as we got the money. That's not likely. Governor Jim Douglas is against making 'seatbelts' a primary. Good for him. Now about these illegal signs...

The click-it-or-ticket program has a false and misleading name. You cannot get a ticket for failing to wear your seatbelt in Vermont....
