I've not seen Kat in many years, although she is often a part of my dreams. My mind has erased all of the negative memories and what remains is her youthful beauty, her smile and that contagious laugh. None of it was very real then, as it's no more so now, though I cherish the memories.
Now you know. personally I would not have invoked the Moslem Prophet, because doing so has caused the thing you warned against via double-dog dare. After all, the satanic verses was only words written on paper. But it's my blog, so your comment is gone. You are still most welcome to comment, of course.
Here's the redacted version of Jason's earlier comment:
...I double dog dare you. That's likely to illicit a response requiring more protection than the First Amendment is able to provide.
I am also facsinated by the power of imagery (my visceral curiosity was originally piqued with the discovery of my dads playboy mags), but these images are silly...er...intriguing.
I believe that you can XXXXXX XXX XXXXXX XXXXXXX with impunity as long as it's not deemed XXXXXXXXXX. If one was to XXXXXXX XXX XXXXXXXX in a XXXXXXX such as you've done here it would certainly be X XXXXXX XXX a XXXXX.
Well, I don't like Osama Bin either. But if I have to choose between the two guys, maybe Pope Benedict is worse. BTW, the picture remind me of Star Wars in some way. Maybe George Lucas would like to make a new episode of Star Wars, in which the star was attacked by terrorist groups and some supermen saved the world.
To doodle and Anonymous, or the one didn't leave your name: I didn't think Osama Bin is a good guy. Instead, he can be anything but a good guy. I don't like any of the two guys, as I have said in the old comment, but I think Pope in power did something which had much bad influences on the world than Osama Bin did. Just like if Hitler was only a terrorist, instead the leader of Germany in WWT, he couldn't had led the world into disaster. So personally, it is very important have a system not to let those bad guys in power.
I hate comment moderation. What if I need to check back to make sure I didn't say something stupid? What if it occurs to me later that I may have made a grammatical error? I have rights, you know.
Emperor Popeatine (The Pope) sucks hairy big ones. That man is evil, the kind of evil that kicks you in the face when you're down in the dirt. Sigh, religious people are so troublesome... What a waste of time.
Remove that picture. It's offensive.
ReplyDeleteRemove that picture. It's offensive.
ReplyDeleteThat's one vote for the Terrorist Jedi, and one vote for the Papal Sith, I guess.
ReplyDeleteI know these pictures are offensive. I'm polling to see which is most offensive.
For the record, I do not believe Osama Bin Laden is good, nor do I believe the pope is bad.
I am facsinated by the power of imagry, and I am protected by the First Amendment.
But I probably will remove the pictures soon anyway.
Thanks for writing in.
...more protection than the First Amendment is able to provide.
ReplyDeleteThat would be an entirely different kind of protection, but good point.
Seen Kathleen lately? I haven't since I ran into her at the chew-chew fest in the summer of '01.
Nice to have you as a reader, Jason. Visit often.

ReplyDeletelol.

ReplyDeleteI have done no such thing.

WHY IS OSAMA A GOOD GUY, AND POPE BAD?
ReplyDeleteWhy is Pope worse, "Just Once"?

ReplyDeleteI find this result weird. Osama is not a religious figure, ergo, there is no blasphemy here. The Pope on the other hand is.
ReplyDeleteI guess I should have voted.

ReplyDeleteI got you covered. If you said something stupid I would just edit it out.

Just Once! Come back to us! I'll take the picture down so you won't get in trouble!
