***Update: The Election Results***

I’ve had the privilege to vote for Wanda Hines, Greg Guma and Carina Driscoll for mayor since Bob Kids left office. I’m never going to vote for Miro Weinberger. I don’t agree with the direction he’s taken Burlington and no other public official has ever done the kind of grievous harm to my first amendment rights that he has in my life. No one has ever made me feel less safe to speak freely.

It’s Election Day in Burlington...




I’m gonna go ahead and vote NO on ballot items 3 and 4 today, and yes on the other four items. These are choices I’m making on the merits, not because of anything I said in the preceding paragraph.

Council Race Predictions (because it’s fun):
East District: Jack Hanson
Central District: Perri Freeman
North District: Kienan Christianson
South District: Mohamed Jafar*

*yeah right? Why do I think he’s still gonna win? I dunno. It’s weird. It’s entirely possible the only correct prediction here is Hanson, Freeman and Christianson lose squeakers and Jafar gets blown out- but I dunno. These are my predictions. If I’m wrong I’ll just delete this post.

Meh. I’ll probably delete it regardless.
